It's like leaving a toy or a phone behind. People had seen you use it, it was yours first, and you go away for a while (not because you wanted to, because you were forced to) and see people using it and taking it when they obviously know that it was yours in the first place. And since they wouldn't give it back peacefully they had to go to extreme measures and take it back by force, since it was yours in the first place.

They didn't really have a choice. Life is more important than land, and if the Jews didn't think that then they would've stayed for sure. The Holocaust forced them to leave, and if the Muslims wouldn't have made it so hard for the Jews to come back and settle down again peacefully then they wouldn't have had to throw them out.
I support what Graham said, bad things happened to both Israel and Palestine people, so if there is a way to split the land the way both sides agree, (for example: make all of the holy zones, neutral so both cultures can go to the holy zones without being bothered and then split the rest of the land evenly) there wouldn't have to be any more argument or war. Because the Jews did come back and just take the land and toss the Muslims back out, but the Muslims did try to take over the land when the Jews had it first, AND when they were forced to leave the country because of the Holocaust, the Jews didn't really have a choice, the Muslims shouldn't have taken the land until they were sure that the Jews weren't coming back. But the land being split evenly is fair.
Well, the Palestinians didn't have to make things so hard, they weren't there in the first place so the land didn't belong to them. Until the Jews make it clear they weren't coming back the Muslims didn't have to claim the land just yet. And even so, the territory was captured in defensive wars. Even after the land was given to the Jews they successfully defended the land by winning several wars.
I think the land belongs to the Israeli people because first off, they were there first, the Jewish people settled and developed the land, as far back as the records show the Jewish people had occupied the land, since apparently, God promised the land to the Jews. So why should the Palestinians take the land that wasn't theirs in the first place?
I am probably a good person but I haven't taken the time to fill out my profile, so you'll never know! |
