I believe that Jerusalem should belong to no one, and I think this because three different religions claim it, Christianity, Islam, and Judaism. It should belong to everyone, and no one should be able to build a (new, any residents that already live there can stay)house on land within a mile of the holy city.

The Palestinians never left the land called "Israel". Why should the Jewish people be "entitled" to land that they didn't care enough about to stay at? Forcing the Palestinians off of land that they have occupied for hundreds of years is no different than when the "new" Americans forced the Native Americans off od the land that they occupied for hundreds of years. I think that the fact that jews say "God gave them the land" is not a reason for them to force people out of their homes, also remember that wars have been fought and people have been killed on both sides. I believe that there should not have to be a one or two-state solution, but that anyone should be able to live anywhere (applies to all but holy sites). I think that your religion should not determine where you live or how you are treated, and the jews are abusing their power by taking so much land from the Palestinians. I believe that we should help the Palestinians, due to being put into an almost 2 country way. From having the Gaza Strip and the West bank. These are the only 2 places they could call their own. We should give them more than having barely any land to call their own when we see the Jewish people coming in and out of Jerusalem. But what I'm proposing is having one country but a two state way. Have it one country so they don't have to deal with going thru customs. And also being united. The West Bank would be shared then the rest of the land would be split in two. I believe that the Palestinians should have the land because they had the land before the Jews did. The Jews just came and kicked the Palestinians out of their homes and they were then left with nothing. The Jewish people left and came back forcefully. Not only that but, As this was happening the Palestinians had no say as to what they were going to end up doing with them and where they would be put. Then eventually Israel came back and took it all back without any warnings to the Palestinians.

So to solve this conflict I think that they should split Israel into 3 major sections, one section would be pure Palestine culture while one of the other sides will have pure Israels. These two sections would be two different parts on the opposite sides of the country. They both should have access to the medditeranian sea and they should each have access to most natural resources While in the middle of Israel their would be a bigger section where it was all natural and everyone would be treated the same, where both Israelites and Palestinians can meet.

When the Israelis came back they forced the land to be theirs but they left and then the British took their side and they got more land than the Arabs. So if they both want land they have to make it even and have both religions to have half each not one have more.

One reason why that the Palestinians should have half of the land is that because the Israelis had left but then came back more forcefully kicking the Palestinians out of their homes and have them fleeing to refugee camps. They also shouldn't have been kicked out of where they were living just because the Israelis had to leave in big groups.

Even though the Jewish people were the ones who left the land I believe that sharing the land would be a good compromise. Both the Palestinians and the Israelis were promised the land at different points in their lives. They could share the land and have it be a 2 state country. They would be able to share Jerusalem and have it so both the Palestinians and the Israelis could enter.

I believe that the land belongs to the Palestinians because when the decision was made, the Palestinians did not get a fair share of land. The Israelis got way more land than the Palestinians did. The Israelis also destroyed the homes of many people so it would make them leave. No one should be forced to move out of their own home. The Palestinians have settled in the land before anyone else and it is not fair that the Israelis took it from them. The reason why they wouldn't share the land was that they were of two different religions. One was Judaism and the other was Islam. The odd thing is, they both believe in one God, it's just that they have a few different ways of doing things. Also, many Palestinians had to move to refugee camps because their homes were gone. Between 350,000 and 400,000 Palestinians were displaced during the war. That is quite a few out of their whole population. They got two pieces of land, and one was really close to the desert. The Palestinians rightfully deserve the land.

The Jew's basically left Israel and went to another country. When and other world war started the Jews started heading back to Israel. If the Palestinians had already settled in the area and where the government is thinking that the Jew's should have some land. Jewish people left and came back forcefully. They should both be able to have the land because of religion. I know that religion is a huge part of both the Arabs and even the Jews. But the holy city of Jerusalem is big in both parts of the religion that they both follow. But with both religions, it is hard to come to a consensus because they keep on arguing saying that God gave it to them or that it never mentioned it in the Koran.
